Tournament operator BLAST has announced the dates for open and closed qualifiers for RMR tournaments ahead of BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023. Qualifiers in all regions will begin in mid-February and end at the end of the same month. In addition, the organizers have changed the dates of the RMR tournaments themselves, which will now last eleven days - from April 3 to April 13.

Teams that made it to the Legends stage of the last IEM Rio Major 2022 will be directly invited to the respective RMR tournaments - 14 out of 32 teams in Europe, as well as 2 out of 16 teams in North and South America. The remaining participants will compete in the qualifiers, some of which will receive direct invitations to the closed qualifiers (16 in Europe, 8 in South America, 8 in North America and 4 each in Asia, Oceania, China and the Middle East).

Participants who receive invitations to the closed qualifiers will be selected based on the new Valve rating, and their names will be revealed closer to the start of the qualifiers.
