9INE became the winner of OMEN WGR European Challenge 2023

The OMEN WGR European Challenge 2023 has come to an end. As part of the championship, which was held online from January 22 to February 11, sixteen teams from Europe fought for a total prize pool of €15,000. The winner of the tournament was the Polish team 9INE , which in the tense grand final was stronger than Team Falcons with a score of 2:0 (Mirage - 28:25; Ancient - 16:12).

Interestingly, the Poles were not originally included in the championship. However, shortly before the start of the competition, 00NATION decided to withdraw from the tournament, while the organizers invited 9INE to the event.

The championship for the Polish team started with an unexpected defeat from Rapid Ninjas (8:16). However, later nawrot's wards outplayed Eternal Fire (2:0) and took revenge on Rapid Ninjas (2:0) to get into the playoffs.

In the semi-finals of the event, the Poles managed to cope with SAW (2:0) to go even further. Despite a significant break, 9INE managed to maintain their form in order to beat Team Falcons (2:0) in the grand final and become the winner of the OMEN WGR European Challenge 2023. Thanks to this victory, the Polish team earned a prize of €9,000.
