IEM Katowice 2023 Group Stage Primary Seeding Revealed
Tournament operator ESL has approved the first pairs of the IEM Katowice 2023 group stage. As a result, Cloud9, BIG, OG and Ninjas in Pajamas teams recognized their opponents from the first round and were also placed in their respective groups. Now the organizers have to determine the seeding of the remaining four seeded teams.
The Cloud9 team got into group A, where they will play with Natus Vincere in the first match. The German team BIG also ended up in Group A, where they will be forced to face G2 Esports. In turn, teams OG and Ninjas in Pajamas were placed in Group B to face MOUZ and Team Vitality respectively in the first round.
The Play-In stage is currently underway, within which the last four participants in the group stage will be determined. Thus, the teams Heroic, Team Liquid, FaZe Clan and Outsiders will recognize their rivals tomorrow, February 3rd.
Recall that the group stage of IEM Katowice 2023 will be held from 4 to 7 February. Here, the sixteen strongest participants will fight for six tickets to the championship playoffs.
