First details of Elisa Invitational Winter 2023 revealed

Tournament operator Elisa Esports has unveiled the first details of Elisa Invitational Winter 2023, its next CS:GO championship. The event, which will take place from January 16 to March 11, will offer participants a total prize pool of $25,000.

Format of the Elisa Invitational Winter 2023

The championship will begin with open qualifiers, which will be held in Scandinavia and Europe. Qualifications will be held on January 10 and everyone can take part.

Next, the Contenders stage will be played, where twelve invited teams will battle with other participants for eight tickets to the next stage of Elisa Invitational Winter 2023. Matches will be held every week from Monday to Thursday in the Swiss bracket format (first and second rounds in BO1, the remaining matches are BO3).

The top eight teams from the Contenders will advance to Main Swiss where they will meet other invited participants. Matches will take place every week from Monday to Thursday in the Swiss bracket format (all BO3).

The championship will end with the playoff stage, where the eight best teams from Main Swiss will go directly to compete with the four invited teams. The playoffs will be played as a single elimination bracket with BO3 matches.

Currently, the names of only two participants of Elisa Invitational Winter 2023 are known - HAVU Gaming and ENCE Academy. The team guaranteed participation in the tournament thanks to reaching the finals of Elisa Open Suomi Season 3.
