The FURIA team lost to Heroic 1:2 in the IEM Rio Major 2022 semi-finals, thus leaving the home championship, taking 3rd-4th place and earning $80,000 + 1,250 points in the BLAST Premier table. In turn, the Danish team goes to the grand final of the competition, where it will face the Outsiders.

The final semi-final of the tournament started on the Inferno map, which turned out to be the choice of the Danish team. But if the starting advantage went to Heroic's treasury, then the Brazilians joined the game, showing excellent defense - 9:6. After the change of sides, there was not a single trace left of the Danes, as the FURIA players took out the opponent on the attack with two legs and took the lead in the series - 16:6.

Next, the teams moved to the Ancient map, which became the choice of FURIA. However, here the game began under the dictation of the Danish team, which had a good half in defense and got a two-fold advantage - 10:5. After switching sides, arT and the company still managed to catch up with the opponent and transfer the map to overtime. And yet here Heroic was unspeakably lucky, as a result of which the team equalized the score in the series — 19:17.

Everything was decided on the Nuke map, the first half of which actually ended with the defeat of the Brazilian team, who took only five rounds for defense - 10:5. Well, after the change of sides, Heroic did not allow the opponent to come up with anything, on the contrary, having played six confident rounds for the final victory - 16:5.
