The second round of IEM Rio Major 2022 Legends Stage has come to an end, according to the results of which four teams, including FaZe Clan and Ninjas in Pajamas , are close to relegation from the championship. At the same time, the teams Heroic, BIG, FURIA and Cloud9 continue to go undefeated, approaching one BO3 distance before reaching the playoffs. The second round of IEM Rio Major 2022 Legends Stage started with a confident victory of the North American team Team Liquid over Sprout (16:5). At the same time, the BIG team unexpectedly outplayed MOUZ (16:7) and made it to the top of the table. Then Cloud9 made a resounding victory over Natus Vincere (16:14), while Team Vitality sensationally slammed FaZe Clan (16:6) and sent the "stars" to the "0-3" basket.

Following this, ENCE extremely confidently outplayed Bad News Eagles (16:7) on the Ancient map, while FURIA made an incredible comeback and snatched victory from Team Spirit (16:13). At the very end of the game day, the Danish team Heroic defeated fnatic (16:2), and Outsiders proved to be stronger than the Swedes from Ninjas in Pajamas (16:12) on the Mirage map.

IEM Rio Major 2022 takes place from October 31 to November 13 in Brazil at the Jeunesse Arena and at the Riocentro convention center. As part of the championship, 24 teams from the CIS, Europe, North and South America, and Asia are fighting for a total prize pool of $1,250,000, ranking points in the BLAST Premier table, as well as tickets to BLAST Premier: World Final 2022 and IEM Katowice 2023 for the winner.
