Eternal Fire becomes the last participant in the playoffs of ESL Challenger at DreamHack Rotterdam 2022
The Eternal Fire team outplayed Movistar Riders with a score of 2:0, thanks to which they made it to the playoffs of ESL Challenger at DreamHack Rotterdam 2022. Here, the Turkish team will meet with ENCE, which became the champion of group B the day before. In turn, Movistar Rider finishes its performance at championship, taking 5th-6th place and earning $3,000.
The final match of the group stage started on the Vertigo map, which became the choice of the Turkish team. But if the starting segment was left for the players of Movistar Riders, then closer to the change of sides, Eternal Fire managed to wake up and level the gap — 8:7. After the side switch, the Spanish team suddenly disappeared from the radar, unable to adjust to the opponent's aggressive defense. In turn, Eternal Fire quickly built up the economy and confidently took the lead in the series — 16:10.
Next, the teams moved to the Inferno map, which turned out to be the choice of Movistar Riders. Here the Spaniards again started with a slight advantage, but again let go of the initiative and allowed Eternal Fire to put together a two-fold advantage in the score — 10:5. After the change of sides, Movistar Riders failed to collect their thoughts, while the Turkish team took advantage of their chances and got the final victory — 16:12.
