G2 Esports crushes ECSTATIC with a score of 16:0 at the start of the RMR tournament

The G2 Esports team defeated ECSTATIC with a score of 16:0 at the start of IEM Road to Rio 2022 European RMR A. The confident performance of XTQZZZ's team on the Ancient map overshadows the debut of the Danish team at the RMR tournament.

The confrontation between G2 Esports and ECSTATIC took place on the Ancient map. At the same time, the wards of XTQZZZ started on the defensive side, which gave them an incredible advantage over their opponent. As a result, NiKo and company had an excellent half, taking all 15 rounds. After a short pause, G2 Esports took the pistol round, thanks to which they scored a clean rout of the opponent — 16:0.

It is noteworthy that the leader in terms of statistics was HooXi, who scored a cumulative rating of 2.21 and made 23 kills.

After this victory, G2 Esports was on a par with other leaders of the tournament table, waiting for their opponent in the next round. Considering the seeding, the team will meet with an opponent from the lower basket "1-0".

IEM Road to Rio 2022 European RMR A runs from 4 to 9 October in Malta. As part of the RMR tournament, sixteen teams from Europe and the CIS are fighting for eight tickets to IEM Rio Major 2022.
