Astralis to perform at IEM Road to Rio 2022 EU RMR with a stand-in

Representatives of the Danish esports club reported on social networks not the most joyful news about the upcoming performances at the Intel Extreme Masters Road to Rio 2022 European RMR A. The team will play with a replacement in the roster.

The reason for this was an injury that suddenly came to visit Christian 'k0nfig' Wieneke. The e-sportsman received a complex ankle fracture and now he is not able to engage in the training process.

k0nfig's place on the roster will be filled by academic roster player Mikkel 'MistR' Thomsen. The 18-year-old has already been included in the starting roster and will represent the team in the upcoming RMR championship.

For k0nfig, such stories are nothing new. The eSportsman last year carelessly walked on the washed floor at the airport, as a result of which he fell, hit the handrail and crushed his wrist bones. The player missed ESL Pro League Season 14 due to injury when he was under the banner of Complexity Gaming. Then he went inactive for obvious reasons, after which he never played for CoL again, but moved to the ranks of Astralis .
