Tournament operator ESL announced the invitation of the Imperial Esports team to the ESL Pro League Conference Season 17. The organizers announced this on their social networks.

Imperial Esports has qualified for ESL Pro League Conference Season 17 as paiN Gaming has already secured its participation in the tournament following the results of ESL Challenger League Season 41: North America. As a result, Imperial Esports have been invited to the upcoming ESL Pro League Conference Season 17 as the next runner-up team at ESL Challenger at DreamHack Melbourne 2022.

As a reminder, the Brazilian team paiN Gaming became the champion of the last ESL Challenger at DreamHack Melbourne 2022, which gives them the right to play at the ESL Pro League Conference Season 17. However, the team won the ESL Challenger League Season 41: North America earlier, thus qualifying for the championship.

As a result, the organizers, using the rules for issuing invitations, decided to give Imperial Esports the right to participate in the championship.

Current ESL Pro League Conference Season 17 line- up: Movistar Riders, Team Falcons, paiN Gaming, Rare Atom and Imperial Esports.

Recall that a little earlier, the tournament operator ESL announced the postponement of ESL Pro League Conference Season 17 to the next season. The organizers shared this decision in the context of a recent update to the tournament schedule, citing the intersection of the calendar with third-party events. As a result, ESL Pro League Conference Season 17 will take place early next year, closer to the start of ESL Pro League Season 17.
