The first session of matches in the second open qualifier for IEM Road to Rio 2022 for Europe has come to an end. This time there were plenty of sensations, as many star teams simply did not even make it to HLTV, to say nothing of the early stages of the qualifiers. Well, the departure of the Danish team Astralis, whose company, among the losers, was made up of other eminent teams, became a clear sensation. In general, we offer you to run through the most interesting results of the last gaming day of the open qualifier at IEM Road to Rio 2022 for Europe.

The main surprise is the departure of the favorites

Perhaps, first we should talk about the Astralis team, which sensationally flew to the 1/32 finals, losing to Neon Rangers (14:16). The surprise was the departure of the French team HEET, which at the same stage lost to GRGECHI (11:16).

The qualifier was unsuccessful for BLUEJAYS as the team lost to premghouls (13:16) and went to prepare for the next qualifiers. Then we won't see the Entopiq team, which once again stumbled in the early stages, but this time failed to outplay 9INE (14:16). The Spaniards from Movistar Riders also flew out of the qualification, who lost to LDLC (12:16) led by AMANEK.

The renewed line-up of Copenhagen Flames is also experiencing its problems, which this time lost to Finest (5:16). Another failure happened to the TITANS team, which at the start of the qualification did not cope with Insilio (13:16).

From an interesting siezed with their lineup, 9 Pandas managed to break into HLTV, having outplayed AVANGAR in the last match (16:13). The team Monte is also afloat, which will play with LDLC.
