G2 Esports player Ilya 'm0NESY' Osipov shared his impressions of the season spent in the European team. In his opinion, in general, it went pretty well, but at the last tournament in which the team took part, IEM Cologne 2022, the team could have shown a more interesting result. The last tournament before the summer break has ended. Our first season as a team. This is the most invaluable experience I have ever had. To be honest, we wanted to end the first half of the year on a good note, but it didn't work out. Thanks to all. Have a great holiday and see you soon! I love my team!

G2 Esports took 9th-12th place at Intel Extreme Masters Cologne 2022. There, the team failed to overcome the group stage. G2 were defeated 0-2 by Movistar Riders, after which the team defeated ENCE with a score of 2-0, but lost in the fight against NiP with a score of 1-2. For their efforts, m0NESY and his comrades received $16,000. The next tournament with the participation of G2 Esports is BLAST Premier Fall Groups 2022, which will be held from August 19 to 28.

IEM Cologne 2022, where G2 completed their journey, runs from July 5th to 17th. The total prize fund of the CS:GO championship is $1,000,000. The winner will take home $400,000 while the runner-up will earn $180,000. The teams that will take 3rd-4th position in the standings will receive $80,000. In addition to the cash pool, the teams compete against each other for BLAST Premier rating points, which will help the best teams reach the BLAST Premier World Final 2022. The IEM Cologne 2022 playoffs will take the tournament participants to the arena with spectators. Astralis, MOUZ, Movistar Riders, Team Liquid, Natus Vincere and FaZe Clan will perform live for CS:GO fans. In the quarterfinals, by the way, Astralis will fight against MOUZ, and Movistar Riders will fight against Team Liquid. Natus Vincere and FaZe Clan, who became leaders in their groups, went straight to the semi-finals.
