Don't miss the start of the group stage of IEM Cologne 2022

Today, July 7, the group stage of IEM Cologne 2022 will begin. Over the course of four days, the sixteen remaining participants will compete for six spots in the championship playoffs. At the same time, the winners of their groups will directly get into the semi-finals of the competition, thereby becoming one step closer to the coveted victory. Group A:

• Natus Vincere, Ninjas in Pajamas, G2 Esports and ENCE are the top seed.
  
• MOUZ, Heroic, Movistar Riders and Vitality are out of Play-In.
  

Group B:

• FaZe Clan, Team Liquid, Cloud9 and FURIA are the top seed.
  
• 00NATION, Team Spirit, Outsiders and Astralis are out of Play-In.

All matches of the group stage of IEM Cologne 2022 will be held in the BO3 format (up to two wins). Teams that make it to the final of the upper bracket are automatically guaranteed to get into the playoffs (the winner of this match will proceed to the semi-finals of the championship). At the same time, another ticket to the playoffs of IEM Cologne 2022 will be up for grabs in the lower bracket of the group stage.

IEM Cologne 2022 takes place from 5 to 17 July in Germany at the Hyatt Regency Cologne and LANXESS arena venues. As part of the championship, 24 teams from Europe, the CIS, Oceania, China, North and South America are fighting for a prize pool of $1,000,000, as well as rating points in the BLAST Premier table.
