Teams FaZe Clan and Cloud9 got their first wins at Roobet Cup 2022. In the first round of the group stage, they managed to outplay OG (2:0) and Complexity (2:0), respectively. Now teams need only one win to reach the playoffs of the championship.

FaZe Clan-OG

One of the two final meetings of the game day started on the Dust 2 map, which became the choice of OG. But if the first half passed in an equal fight, then after the change of sides the nominal "owners" disappeared somewhere from the server. In turn, FaZe Clan confidently closed the half in attack and took the lead in the series — 16:8.

Next, the teams moved to the Overpass map, which became the choice of FaZe Clan. And again, the first half went in an equal fight, even if now the representatives of OG had a slight advantage. Moreover, after the change of sides, ruggah's wards had several chances to break the opponent's economy. However, FaZe Clan's experience played its part, as the team took several difficult rounds, thus achieving the final victory in the series - 16:14.

Cloud9-Complexity

The parallel meeting started on the Inferno map, which became the choice of the North American team. At the same time, Complexity unexpectedly started strongly on its own choice, at some point risking upsetting the favorite. However, Cloud9 managed to make a comeback to take the game into overtime, and then take the lead in the series — 19:16.

Then the teams moved to the Dust 2 map, where intrigue was no longer expected. As a result, the Russian team played two confident halves, and at the same time scored their first victory in the Roobet Cup 2022 — 16:7.
