B1ad3: "We still have everything we need to win tournaments"

B1ad3, who is the head coach of NaVi, shared his thoughts on the latest changes in the team. In an interview for the BLAST studio, the 35-year-old Ukrainian specialist also stated that the "Born to Win" still have everything they need to win major championships.

I think it's important for every team to have a good captain. At the same time, we do not believe that with the exception of one player we have destroyed the composition, the game system and left behind our achievements. In my opinion, this gave us new opportunities - one door closed, another opened. This is a new chapter in our history. Now we are trying to play with electroNic as a captain. In the past, we have already worked with him when we played for FlipSid3, and even more so in NAVI, because it is with him that I often discuss the game. There aren't many good captains on the scene right now. This role requires a lot of experience, so we got a very good opportunity.

So far, it's hard to say how electronic differs from Boombl4. I need to watch his performance in LAN tournaments, because sometimes he still runs to make frags. He should be more calm.

We still have everything we need to win tournaments. We have the best player in the world - s1mple, a very experienced electroNic who is good at macro understanding. We have firepower thanks to stars like b1t - he is very young and far from reaching his maximum. We have Perfecto, who shoots well, moves and understands the game in difficult situations. In the future, he can become a star - he only needs self-confidence and the right attitude.

We believe in our system and for now we will continue to play as we have done since the beginning of the year. We have good chances to win several tournaments. We need to catch a wave in the tournament - we have players who can show incredible things. Our squad is very strong.

We are about 50% ready for this tournament. It's not much, but we didn't have enough time to train with the new player and captain. We need to see what is worth changing, as we have done before with building our system. We are constantly changing things to make our game better. I think this is exactly what we need now.

I think with every game we will get better. FaZe Clan didn't perform as well at IEM Dallas 2022, and Vitality and G2 aren't the strongest teams, so yes. ENCE has never been a serious opponent for us, like Heroic, FaZe Clan or Cloud9. I think we have a chance to win the championship.
