WePlay Academy League Season 4: Play-In stage starts today

Today, June 9, the Play-In stage of the WePlay Academy League Season 4 championship will begin. The ten remaining participants will compete for two tickets to the final stage of the tournament. At the same time, the teams that take second places in their groups have to play only one final match in order to reach the WePlay Academy League Season 4 finals. We invite you to get acquainted with the participants of this stage of the championship.

Participants and bracket of the Play-In stage

In the first round of the Play-In stage, teams that take 5th and 6th places in their groups will meet.

  • NAVI Junior - Spirit Academy.
  • Young Gods Apeks Rebels.

In the quarter-finals, the winners of this match will face the teams that finished fourth in groups A and B.

  • OG Academy - NAVI Junior/Spirit Academy.
  • FURIA Academy - Young Gods/Apeks Rebels.

In the next round of the Play-In stage, the winners of the quarter-finals will face the teams that took 3rd place in their respective groups.

  • Young Ninjas - OG Academy/NAVI Junior/Spirit Academy.
  • 00 Prospects - FURIA Academy/Young Gods/Apeks Rebels.

Well, in the final round, the winners will have to fight with the teams that finished the group stage of WePlay Academy League Season 4 on the second lines.

  • Fnatic Rising - Young Ninjas/OG Academy/NAVI Junior/Spirit Academy.
  • Astralis Talent - 00 Prospects/FURIA Academy/Young Gods/Apeks Rebels.

WePlay Academy League Season 4 runs from May 24 to June 26 online. Thirteen youth teams from Europe, the CIS and Brazil are competing for a $100,000 prize pool. Recall that the three-time WePlay Academy League champion is the MOUZ NXT team.

  • 1st place: $45,000
  • 2nd place: $20,000.
  • 3rd place: $15,000
  • 4th place: $8,000
  • 5th-6th place: $4,000.
  • 7th-8th place: $1,500.
  • 9th-10th place: $500.
  • 11th-12th place: TBD.
