The first game day of the Pinnacle Cup Championship 2022 group stage has ended, as a result of which the MIBR team left the championship, having lost two meetings in a row. In turn, the remaining three participants from group A will play tomorrow for two tickets to the playoffs. Well, we offer you to get acquainted with the results of the first day of the Pinnacle Cup Championship 2022 in Group A.

Heroic—fnatic

The game day began with a pen test for the new roster of the British club fnatic. While the meeting took place on the Inferno map, the Danish team could not find themselves for a long time, stumbling over and over again into the inability to accept the exit to the point. However, the first half ended with a minimal advantage for fnatic, as Xizt's men managed to take advantage of the opponent's mistakes and close the lead.

It seemed that after the switch of sides, Heroic would quickly restore the status quo. However, the Danish-Swedish team quickly adjusted to the opponent's game, taking a series of rounds at once, thus running ahead. Despite all the attempts of the Danes to recoup, fnatic took the final round and got the first victory in the new roster — 16:14.

BIG-MIBR

Next, there was a meeting between the BIG and MIBR teams, which took place on the Nuke map. At the same time, the German team showed its superiority too quickly, closing the half in defense with a devastating score of 13:2. Of course, after the change of sides, there could be no question of any intrigue. However, the Brazilians were honored with several rounds of prestige. Nevertheless, BIG got a too easy victory at the start of the championship and made it to the second round of the Pinnacle Cup Championship 2022 group stage — 16:7.

Heroic-MIBR

In the final confrontation of the game day from group A teams Heroic and MIBR met. The meeting started on the Inferno map, which became the choice of the Danish team. At the same time, the Brazilians started right off the bat, showing an incredible start for defense. And yet Heroic had the strength to level the gap, gaining six rounds. After the side switch, MIBR completely disappeared from the server, leaving the opponent with complete freedom of action. In turn, Heroic players took advantage of this opportunity, closing the pick in their favor — 16:11.

Then the teams moved to the Mirage map, the first half of which was the last nail in the cover of the Brazilian team's extinct ambitions. MIBR, despite the choice of the map, did not connect anything in the attack, taking only three rounds. At the same time, after the change of sides, the Brazilian team did not even bother to return to the game, actually flying a white flag. At the same time, Heroic continued to put pressure, thus securing an easy victory — 16:3.
