Snax shares his impressions of performing at IEM Dallas 2022
/Snax, who plays as a stand-in for the ENCE team, commented on the success of the team at IEM Dallas 2022. In an interview for the HLTV portal, the Polish esportsman also spoke about what can make him worry during the game.
In the past, I have shown the best game on stages. I think it's not because I'm used to it, but because other people can tremble when playing in front of an audience. Only one person can make me feel uncomfortable when I play, and that is my mom. When I lived with her and she stood behind me, I was shaking and I could not concentrate. But when she's not around, it's okay. There can be a million people behind me and everything will be fine, but if my mother is behind me, I can’t concentrate, I don’t know why.
I've talked to my wife and she still thinks I should probably play more CS because she thinks I'm still good. I won't lie, after we beat G2 and FaZe Clan, I had tears in my eyes. It reminded me of the days of Virtus.pro. It was a nice experience to play against the best teams again and be a good player again. Before that, I doubted myself. My wife doesn't mind me playing, because she knows that I love the game and have been doing it all my life.
Now and in the past, you can see the difference between my online and offline play. I'm terrible at playing online. Tournaments on stage are a completely different matter. If you remember, earlier together with Virtus.pro we rarely made it to the ESL Pro League through online qualifiers. Everything changes when it comes to the stadium. In such conditions, my experience and calmness give me the opportunity to show that I remain a good player.
Recall that the ENCE team reached the grand final of IEM Dallas 2022, in which they will play with the Russian team Cloud9.
