The miracle didn't happen. Encore leaving IEM Dallas 2022

Aussie team Encore leaves IEM Dallas 2022 without a fight. FaZe defeated Vitalita with a score of 2:0.

Encore vs Astralis

  1. Encore removed Mirage
  2. Astralis removed Dust2
  3. Encore picked Vertigo
  4. Astralis picked Nuke
  5. Encore removed Inferno
  6. Astralis removed Ancient
  7. Overpass was left over

The Australians decided to try their hand at the Vertigo map, let me remind you that the Astralis team has problems on this map, their win rate before the meeting did not exceed 20%. But even this factor did not help, Encore did not succeed at all, the Danes simply defeated their rivals for defense, the half ended 13:2, and already in the attack Astralis "put the squeeze" on their opponents. The map went to the Danes with a score of 16:3.

On the Nuke-Encore map, they started on defense, they lost half by taking 5 rounds. Astralis turned out to be head and shoulders above their opponent and ended the confrontation 16:9. The Danes had problems in defense, even against not the most titled team.

Encore leave IEM Dallas 2022 in 13th-16th place. The Australians win $4,000 per team.

FaZe Clan vs Vitality

  1. Vitality removed Ancient
  2. FaZe removed Vertigo
  3. Vitality picked Dust2
  4. FaZe picked Nuke
  5. Vitality removed Overpass
  6. FaZe removed Mirage
  7. Inferno was left over

Vitality had good chances on Dust2. In the beginning, there really was a tense struggle, and even at the end of the map there was intrigue. However, when the score was 14:11 "ropz", without the help of the team, made the two most important frags and the B site was empty. And before that, the FaZe Clan team took the eco round 5 to 0. Even despite this, the Danish-French had a chance to snatch Dust2 into their piggy bank, in some moments they lacked restraint, made mistakes out of the blue, and sometimes they simply didn’t shot down their opponents. 16:11 in favor of FaZe.

Vitality's Nuke map is the worst in terms of statistics, it was noticeable that they did not prepare the map properly. The Danish-French continued to make mistakes out of the blue. We gave the clutch to karrigan 3v1, although he had Galil in his hands. "Magisk" did not check for default positions. FaZe played their game, naturally taking the map with a score of 16:10 without any problems.

FaZe Clan reached the final of the upper bracket, where they will face the ENCE team. Vitality will have to compete with MOUZ for reaching the finals of the lower bracket.
