The second game day of the PGL Major Antwerp 2022 Legends Stage has come to an end, as a result of which Team Spirit and NaVi made it to the playoffs, while Bad News Eagles and Team Liquid were eliminated from the tournament. Third round of PGL Major Antwerp 2022 Legends Stage

The game day began with confrontations between the teams that finished the starting rounds with a score of "1-1". If in the first case Heroic outplayed G2 Esports (19:17), then in the parallel meeting ENCE closed Outsiders without a chance (16:8). In the next pair, the FaZe Clan team confidently coped with Cloud9 (16:8), while FURIA turned out to be stronger than BIG (16:10).

In the first full-fledged BO3 tournament, Team Spirit defeated Copenhagen Flames (2:1), thus making it to the playoffs of PGL Major Antwerp 2022. At the same time, Team Vitality defeated Team Liquid (2:0), thus knocking out the North American team from the championship. The NAVI team got its rightful ticket to the playoffs, which outplayed Ninjas in Pajamas (2:1). At the same time, the Brazilians from Imperial Esports turned out to be stronger than Bad News Eagles (2:0), knocking out the Kosovars from PGL Major Antwerp 2022.

PGL Major Antwerp 2022 takes place from 9 to 22 May at the Antwerps Sportpaleis in Belgium. During the championship, 24 teams from Europe, the CIS, Asia, Oceania, North and South America are fighting for a prize pool of $1,000,000, ranking points in the EPT and BLAST Premier tables, as well as one ticket to BLAST Premier: World Final 2022.
