The game day began with confrontations between the teams that finished the starting rounds with a score of "1-1". If in the first case Heroic outplayed G2 Esports (19:17), then in the parallel meeting ENCE closed Outsiders without a chance (16:8). In the next pair, the FaZe Clan team confidently coped with Cloud9 (16:8), while FURIA turned out to be stronger than BIG (16:10).

In the first full-fledged BO3 tournament, Team Spirit defeated Copenhagen Flames (2:1), thus making it to the playoffs of PGL Major Antwerp 2022. At the same time, Team Vitality defeated Team Liquid (2:0), thus knocking out the North American team from the championship. The NAVI team got its rightful ticket to the playoffs, which outplayed Ninjas in Pajamas (2:1). At the same time, the Brazilians from Imperial Esports turned out to be stronger than Bad News Eagles (2:0), knocking out the Kosovars from PGL Major Antwerp 2022.

During the championship, 24 teams from Europe, the CIS, Asia, Oceania, North and South America are fighting for a prize pool of $1,000,000, ranking points in the EPT and BLAST Premier tables, as well as one ticket to BLAST Premier: World Final 2022.
