Today begins FLASHPOINT Season 1, the new league from FACEIT. 12 teams take part in it. 8 clubs were given the opportunity to play in the league thanks to purchased passes worth $ 2,000,000. It is worth noting that, in addition to the opportunity to participate in the league, organizations that have invested their funds will be considered co-owners of FLASHPOINT Season 1. This right allows them to participate in sharing the league's profit. This applies to both the management of the club and the players playing in matches. Preferred individuals were Cloud9, c0ntact Gaming, Dignitas, Team Envy, Gen.G Esports, MAD Lions, MiBR and FunPlus Phoenix . The latter, by the way, bought the Heroic roster for this, but so far there are no official comments on this.
Orgless, Chaos Esports Club, HAVU Gaming and Copenhagen Flames, in turn, made it to the FLASHPOINT Season 1 through the LAN qualifier.
The FACEIT League will be held until April 19 in Los Angeles. The venue will be FACEIT Studio, with a total prize pool of $ 1,000,000 for the first season.
