Tournament operator PGL has again changed the rules for holding RMR tournaments for America and Europe. This time the organizers have added additional matches for the winners to determine the holders of the Legends status at PGL Major Antwerp 2022.

The additional BO3 series in the featured regions will reportedly help break the ties between several teams competing for Legends status by awarding the winners a direct ticket to the Top 16 at PGL Major Antwerp 2022.

In America, the teams that finish the Swiss stage undefeated will play an extra match for the only Legends stage place offered in the region. In the first European RMR tournament, the decisive match will be played between the two teams that finished second with a score of 3-1, while in the second European RMR tournament it will be the two teams that finished 3rd and 4th.

As a reminder, earlier PGL added decisive matches for the teams that finished the Swiss stage of the PGL Major Antwerp 2022 Americas RMR with a 3-2 result to determine the last major participant from the region.

Participants of PGL Major Antwerp 2022 Europe RMR A: Natus Vincere, Heroic, Virtus.pro, Vitality, FaZe Clan, MOUZ, BIG, GamerLegion, fnatic, SAW, OG, Eternal Fire, Dignitas, Unique, forZe and QUAZAR.

PGL Major Antwerp 2022 Europe RMR B participants: G2, Gambit, NIP, Entropiq, Copenhagen Flames, Astralis, ENCE, HEET, SINNERS, Spirit, AVE, Sprout, Bad News Eagles, Endpoint, Sangal and Anonymo.
