maLeK misses the start of ESL Pro League Season 15

The North American esports organization Evil Geniuses announced changes to the CS:GO team roster for ESL Pro League Season 15. As a result of these changes, maLeK misses the start of the championship, as the 36-year-old specialist was forced to return to France for treatment.

maLeK was absent from today's match and will miss the rest of this week's ESL Pro League Season 15 matches due to returning to France for non-coronavirus treatment.

During maLeK's expected absence from the team, assistant Evy will take his place and take over the duties of the head coach for the upcoming matches.

We wish maLeK a speedy recovery and hope he returns to the team.

Recall that maLeK became the head coach of Evil Geniuses at the end of last year. In three months, the 36-year-old French specialist played with the team at BLAST Premier: Spring Groups 2022, and also helped the squad qualify for PGL Major Antwerp 2022: American RMR.

Evil Geniuses will continue playing at ESL Pro League Season 15 today, March 31st. In the second round of the competition, the North American team will face NAVI.
