All participants of the playoffs of ESL Challenger League Season 40: North America have been determined

The group stage of ESL Challenger League Season 40: North America has ended, following which eight teams advanced to the championship playoffs. The remaining participants left the event without earning a single cent of prize money. We offer to get acquainted with the results of the group stage and present the seeding for the playoffs.

Group A

The surprise winner of Group A was ATK, who managed to get six victories and also lost to ONET4P (0:2). Carpe Diem is next, with five wins and two losses against ATK (1:2) and ONET4P (1:2). The next playoff participant from group A was paiN Gaming, which finished the group stage with a score of 5-2. The fourth place was taken by Orgless, who won four matches, losing along the way to paiN Gaming (0:2), Carpe Diem (1:2) and ATK (1:2).

The undisputed leader of the next group was the Brazilian team MIBR, which won all seven matches of the group stage, losing only one map. On the second line is the Party Astronauts team, which lost only MIBR (1:2) on its way. The Gaimin Gladiators were next, finishing the group stage with a 5-2 record. The last playoff participant from group B was Strife Esports, which won three meetings, but at the same time lost to Party Astronauts (0:2), Gaimin Gladiators (1:2), Eros (1:2) and MIBR (0: 2).
