Complexity, Team Liquid, Bad News Bears and Team oNe qualified for PGL Major Antwerp 2022 Americas RMR

Complexity, Team Liquid, Bad News Bears and Team One qualified for the PGL Major Antwerp 2022 Americas RMR. According to the results of the first open qualification for North America, four teams proved to be stronger than many other representatives of the scene, thus winning tickets to the RMR tournament, which will be held in Bucharest.

The winner of the PGL Major Antwerp 2022 Americas RMR NA Open Qualifier 1 was the Complexity team, which in this qualifier beat Mulas do Chat (16:1), Turtle Squad (16:1), InControl Nation (16:5), Team Omega (16: 1), ATK (2:0), Bad News Bears (16:4) and Team Liquid (16:14).

Next, Team Liquid qualified for the RMR tournament, which showed a confident start, outplaying TheTaxidermists (16:0), WKEnd Warriors (16:0), Levitate (16:2), Big Rigger Esport (16:0), Strife Esports (2:0) and Team oNe (19:16). However, in the finals of the qualification, the team lost to Complexity (14:16), thus taking the second place.

A place at the RMR tournament following the results of the open qualification also went to Bad News Bears, which during the qualifiers turned out to be stronger than delons money (16:1), Snakes DenGG (16:5), Tropa do Biluga (16:1), paiN Gaming (16:9) and Mythic (2:0). Despite the defeat from Complexity (4:16) in the semi-finals, the team managed to overcome Team oNe (19:16), taking an honorable 3rd place.

The last participant of the PGL Major Antwerp 2022 Americas RMR following the results of the open qualification was the Brazilian team Team oNe, which at the start of the qualifiers beat Tac8 Gaming (16:0), Arctic Monkeys (16:2), New Threat (16:1), Carpe Diem (19:16) and GODSENT (2:1). However, at the end of the qualification, the team failed to cope with Team Liquid (16:19) and Bad News Bears (16:19).

Results of PGL Major Antwerp 2022 Americas RMR NA Open Qualifier 1

  • 1st place: Complexity Gaming.
  • 2nd place: Team Liquid.
  • 3rd place: Bad News Bears.
  • 4th place: Team oNe eSports.
  • 5th-8th place: GODSENT, Strife Esports, ATK and Mythic.
  • 9th-16th place: DotMaxGaming, Carpe Diem, Big Rigger Esport, Limitless, Team Omega, Third Impact, paiN Gaming and StrikeX.

Currently, the list of participants in the RMR tournament for America is as follows:

  • FURIA, Imperial, 00NATION, 9z, Case, MIBR, São Caetano, Isurus, Leviatán, Complexity, Team Liquid, Bad News Bears and Team oNe.

PGL Major Antwerp 2022 Americas RMR will take place April 11-14 in Bucharest. 16 teams from North and South America will compete for six tickets to PGL Major Antwerp 2022.
