TYLOO, Checkmate and Lynn Vision Gaming qualified for PGL Major Antwerp 2022: Asia-Pacific RMR

Open qualifiers in China, Asia and the Middle East have ended, following which the teams TYLOO, Checkmate and Lynn Vision Gaming won tickets to PGL Major Antwerp 2022: Asia-Pacific RMR. The last participant of the RMR tournament will be known on March 6, when the open qualifier for teams from Oceania ends.

As expected, the winner of the Chinese qualifier was the TYLOO team, which outplayed Ink Esports (16:1), After Gaming (16:13), WDNMD (16:6) and Invictus Gaming (16:6) during the qualifying stage. In the grand final of the competition, the team was stronger than Steel Helmet (2:0), thus qualifying for PGL Major Antwerp 2022: Asia-Pacific RMR.

The winner in the Asian part of the qualifiers was Checkmate, who managed to beat SUBCONSCIOUS (16:9), D13 (16:10), Aravt (16:6) and Wings Up Gaming (16:11). In the decisive match, the Mongolian team beat Rare Atom (2:0), thanks to which they qualified for PGL Major Antwerp 2022: Asia-Pacific RMR.

From the Middle East, Lynn Vision Gaming qualified for the RMR tournament. Here the Chinese team defeated Triple 6 (16:7), kebabs (16:1), after which they lost to Divine Vendetta (14:16) and fell into the lower bracket. However, Lynn Vision Gaming managed to pull together to beat POGGERZ (16:6), LookingForOrg (16:5), Divine Vendetta (16:14) and NASR Esports (2:1), thus qualifying for PGL Major Antwerp 2022: Asia- Pacific RMR.

Open qualifiers for teams from Oceania will be held from 5 to 6 March. The PGL Major Antwerp 2022: Asia-Pacific RMR itself will take place from April 15 to 16 in Bucharest. According to its results, two teams from the region qualify for PGL Major Antwerp 2022.
