The Play-In stage, which precedes the group stage of IEM Katowice 2022, has come to an end. As a result, eight teams advanced to the main draw of the championship, where they will meet with other seeded teams. Following the results of the first game day, two teams left the championship: Sprout and Wisla Krakow. At the same time, Copenhagen Flames, OG, FaZe Clan and Astralis made it to the group stage of IEM Katowice 2022.

At the start of the second gaming day, we said goodbye to MIBR and Renegades, who lost to Movistar Riders and Entropiq, respectively. At the same time, ENCE and fnatic won their tickets to the group stage of IEM Katowice 2022, which turned out to be stronger than GODSENT and BIG, respectively. The last two tickets to the main stage of the championship went to NIP and MOUZ, who outplayed Movistar Riders and Entropiq, respectively.
