Pinnacle Winter Series 2 Regionals: Strong debut by Team Spirit and weak start by 00Nation

The first round of Pinnacle Winter Series 2 Regionals has come to an end, following which eight teams broke into the leaders of the tournament table. Well, we recall the most interesting results of the game day, during which several debuts took place at once.

The first round kicked off with two quick wins for PACT and Tricked. But if the Danes outplayed eSuba (2:0), the Polish team, not without luck, coped with LookingForOrg, missing the first map due to the technical problems of the Australians.

The winners of the next batch of matches were MAD Lions and Unique, who outplayed Ungentium and ALTERNATE aTTaX, respectively. And if the European team overcame their opponent without unnecessary problems, the Kazakh team spent enough energy to emerge victorious from their series.

Following them, Endpoint players appeared on the server, who literally did not feel the resistance of 777, having obtained a confident victory at the start of the championship. At the same time, Team Spirit made a full-fledged debut in the new season. But if the first map went to Savage, then the Russian team coped with the excitement and snatched the victory.

In the evening, the debut of another team, claiming great achievements, took place. However, the Brazilians from 00Nation did not manage to please their fans with a good result, as 1WIN turned out to be stronger in the face-to-face meeting, snatching the victory in the overtimes of the Nuke map. At the same time, ENTERPRISE made a small sensation by beating AVANGAR in a tense match.
