Summing up the results of Malta Vibes Knockout Series 5

The first stage of Malta Vibes Knockout Series 5 has come to an end, as a result of which eight teams have advanced to the second stage of the competition, where they will meet with the seeded teams. In this regard, we get to know these lucky ones and remember their path through the championship.

The first to slip into the second stage of Malta Vibes Knockout Series 5 was Nexus, who outplayed Ambush Esport (2:1) and Into The Breach (2:0). Following the Romanian team, the Poles from Ungentium broke through, having hardly beaten GMT Esports (2:1) and KOVA Esports (2:1). Unexpectedly, the Entropiq Prague team performed strongly, closing ex-Feenix (2:0) and B8 (2:0).

The Russian team AVE also made it to the next stage of the championship, easily beating ALTERNATE aTTaX (2:0) and ex-Coalesce (2:0). The Young Ninjas team went through a similar path, outplaying Sangal (2:1) and LPSP (2:1) with great difficulty. Quite expectedly, the 1shot team went further, which coped with Astralis Talent (2:1) and D13 (2:0).

The last participants in the 1/8 finals of Malta Vibes Knockout Series 5 were Los Reyes and Wisła Kraków. According to the results of the first stage of the championship, the teams beat Team Unique (2:0) and PACT (2:0), as well as FTW Esports (2:0) and 777 Esports (2:1), respectively.

Malta Vibes Knockout Series 5 runs from 17 to 27 January online. 40 teams are competing for a $50,000 prize pool, as well as two training camps in Malta.
