Following the results of the third gaming day, Complexity and fnatic left Funspark ULTI 2021 Finals. In the first round of the lower bracket, the teams lost to ECSTATIC (0:2) and Astralis (1:2), thus saying goodbye to hopes of winning the championship. In turn, ECSTATIC and Astralis will continue their way to the lower bracket of the tournament, meeting with the losing teams of the semi-final matches.

ECSTATIC-Complexity

The first meeting of the gaming day started on the Inferno map, which became the choice of the Danish team. At the same time, the "owners" quickly seized the initiative, having received a twofold advantage over the change of sides. However, in the second half, Complexity players managed to bounce back, thus moving the game to overtime. Nevertheless, the Danes turned out to be stronger here, who showed a little more imagination and took the lead in the series - 22:20.

Next, the teams moved to the Nuke map, which turned out to be the choice of Complexity. Despite a good start, ECSTATIC failed to maintain the advantage, allowing the opponent to take the lead at the end of the first half. However, the Danish team showed an extremely confident attack, quickly leveling the gap and then running ahead. Complexity was no longer able to cope with such pressure, which ultimately led to capitulation with Funspark ULTI 2021 Finals — 16:10.

Astralis - fnatic

The final game of the day started on the Mirage map, which became the choice of the fnatic team. However, the "owners" quickly disappeared from the server without inventing anything in the attack. As a result, Astralis quickly seized the initiative, over and over again cracking down on the opponent. After the side switch, the Danish team continued to put pressure, which led to a disappointing result - 16:2.

Next, the teams moved to Nuke, which turned out to be the choice of Astralis. At the same time, the Danes failed to open up in attack, finishing the half with six rounds in the asset. After the change of sides, Astralis quickly leveled the gap, and then completely took the lead. However, a confident play by Brollan, smooya and mezii allowed fnatic to turn the tide of the meeting, leaving the fate of the confrontation to the deader — 16:13.

Everything was decided on the Inferno map, where the Danes had an overwhelming advantage at the start. However, closer to the side switch, fnatic managed to cut the lead down to one round. It seemed that in the second half Astralis would quickly resolve all issues and put the opponent on the shoulder blades. But ALEX and company managed to get back into the game to push the fate of the series into overtime. Nevertheless, here the Danes were adamant, asking fnatic to leave the tournament - 19:16.
