The Malta Vibes Knockout Series 4 quarterfinals have come to an end. After four matches, MOUZ NXT, Dignitas, ECSTATIC and Copenhagen Flames advanced to the semi-finals of the championship. Now the remaining teams will compete for the lion's share of the $ 50,000 prize pool.

BLINK - ECSTATIC

BLINK and ECSTATIC met in the first quarter-final. The match turned out to be equal, despite the final score. At the same time, the Danish team quickly seized the initiative on the server, showing strong play on Dust 2. Then the teams moved to the Vertigo map, which was chosen by ECSTATIC. However, the Albanian team failed to show their strengths in the attack, finally capitulating after the changeover - 2: 0.

Dignitas - INDE IRAE

The next quarter-final gave a lot more intrigue. The series started on the Vertigo map, where the Swedish team had to return to the game in the second half, reaping the rewards of an unsuccessful attack. However, Dignitas managed to make a comeback and come out ahead. Nevertheless, on the Ancient card, the initiative passed into the hands of the Russian team, which showed two successful halves on their own pick and managed to level the score.

Everything was decided on the Nuke map, where the Swedes, starting in defense, managed to get an advantage over the side switching. Already in the second half, Dignitas began to let go of the situation out of control. And yet f0rest and the company managed to snatch the victory, making their way to the semifinals - 2: 1.

MAD Lions - Copenhagen Flames

The third quarter-final started on the Overpass map, where equality reigned for a long time. However, closer to the end, the Danish team took possession of the advantage, finally knocking the opponent out of the rut. Then the teams moved to the Mirage map, where Copenhagen Flames continued to dominate. At the same time, after the change of sides, the MAD Lions players began to wake up, gradually catching up with the opponent. And yet the Danes had enough starting advantage to close the series in their favor - 2: 0.

MOUZ NXT - 1WIN

In the last match of the game day, the intrigue was alive until the last round. The teams started the streak on Mirage, where everything was going in favor of MOUZ NXT. However, after the change of sides, the Russian team joined the game and began to close the gap. And yet MOUZ NXT managed to snatch victory, thus taking the lead in the series.

Then the teams moved to the Ancient map, the first half of which ended with the overwhelming advantage of 1WIN. However, the side switching transformed MOUZ NXT, who made a 2:13 comeback and pushed the map into overtime. Here the teams had to carry out four full-fledged series, as a result of which the European team emerged from the server as the winner, having spent a lot of effort on it - 2: 0.
