Finnish organizer Elisa Esports has announced the Elisa Invitational Winter 2021. The championship is expected to be held in LAN format from March 3 to 6 in the Finnish city of Tampere and will offer participants a prize pool of $ 100,000. The tournament will be presented to a live audience at the Tampere Exhibition and Sports Center with a capacity of 1,000 people.

The list of participants in the championship is still unknown. However, many world-class teams have taken part in the Elisa Invitational playoffs over the past year, including Gambit, FURIA, fnatic and Heroic.

Teemu Koski, head of Elisa Esports: "We are extremely proud of our domestic experience in e-sports, and our long-term cooperation with LanTrek great that together we can make the best international tournament in Finland, and to allow our fans to enjoy world class live content.".

The Elisa Invitational Winter 2021 will be attended by four invited teams, as well as four teams that will qualify in Scandinavia, which will be held from November 8-14 in Norway, Sweden and Finland. At the same time, Elisa Esports planned to hold qualifications in Denmark, but later abandoned this idea due to problems with the organization.
