Valorant Patch 11.00 Preview: Major Agent Tweaks Ahead of Episode 2025 Act 4 Launch

The highly anticipated Patch 11.00 for Valorant is set to arrive just before the start of Episode 2025 Act 4. This upcoming update promises significant changes and a wave of new content that will impact both casual and competitive play. While Riot Games has not yet published the full official patch notes, multiple leaks and early reveals have given players a good idea of what to expect.

Patch 11.00 Release Date and Time

Patch 11.00 is expected to go live on Tuesday, June 24 in regions like North America, LATAM, and Brazil. For these regions, the patch rollout is planned for approximately 6:00 AM PT.

Meanwhile, players in Europe will receive the update slightly later — at around 4:00 AM BST on Wednesday, June 25.

Agent Changes and Gameplay Adjustments

Although the complete changelog is still under wraps, several adjustments have been leaked. These changes highlight balance updates for various agents, with a particular focus on improving the viability of Waylay, who has struggled to make an impact across skill levels.

Waylay

Waylay receives the most attention in this patch, with multiple buffs across her abilities:

  • Refract: Minimum active time reduced from 0.5 seconds to 0.35 seconds
  • Unequip time lowered from 1 second to 0.8 seconds
  • Delay after reactivation cut from 0.1 seconds to 0.05 seconds
  • Lightspeed: Unequip time decreased from 0.8 seconds to 0.6 seconds
  • Saturate: Windup before detonation shortened from 0.75 seconds to 0.6 seconds
  • Effect radius expanded from 10 meters to 12 meters

These improvements are aimed at making Waylay more responsive and dangerous in intense engagements. It may now make sense to rate this agent more often, especially with the new Phaseguard skin bundle, which we have reviewed on our website.

Reyna

  • Leer (Flash): Health reduced from 100 to 80
  • Enemies will now receive clearer audio and visual cues when taking damage from Leer

This tweak is designed to make Leer less oppressive and give opponents a better chance to respond.

Phoenix

  • Curveball (Flash): Windup time increased from 0.5 seconds to 0.6 seconds

A slight delay in activation gives enemies more room to anticipate and counter Phoenix’s plays.

Sova

  • Owl Drone: Enemies now hear a warning sound when the drone is watching them
  • Recon BoltNow emits a louder sound, making it easier for players to locate and destroy
  • These adjustments are intended to increase counterplay against Sova’s recon tools.

    Omen

    • Dark Cover: Will no longer emit an audio cue for enemies within 12.5 meters

This change boosts Omen’s stealth utility, especially in close-range setups.

    Neon

    • Relay Bolt (Stun): Windup time increased from 0.8 seconds to 1 second

This update slightly reduces the speed of Neon’s aggressive engages, requiring more precision.

    Killjoy

    • Lockdown: Detain pulse delay reduced from 0.5 seconds to 0.15 seconds

This allows Killjoy’s ultimate to trigger its effect more quickly, tightening her control over post-plant scenarios.

    Final Thoughts

Patch 11.00 is shaping up to be a game-defining update that fine-tunes several core agents while setting the stage for the next competitive chapter in Valorant. With a clear effort to rebalance underperforming characters like Waylay and adjust dominant abilities across the board, Riot is showing continued dedication to healthy, dynamic gameplay.

In addition to agent changes, players are also getting their first New VALORANT Map Corrode Overview, offering a fresh environment that will significantly influence tactics and team compositions going forward.
