The International 2025 Compendium Overview: Activities, Dates, Prizes

Welcome to all Dota 2 fans, as the long-awaited Compendium for The International 2025 has finally been released! The tournament will take place from September 4 to 14 in Hamburg, Germany. Many doubted its release, but on 20.08 Valve still added the Compendium to the game and filled it with lots of exciting features. This year’s Compendium is free for all players, so we recommend reading this article and jumping into Dota 2 right away to not miss anything.

Compendium Overview

Unlike previous years, the 2025 Compendium is free for all players. To welcome fans, Valve released a full article, which you can check out on their official page or Dota 2. As for the Compendium itself, it includes team result predictions, fantasy draft, team and talent bundles, as well as rewards. Below, we’ll go into detail on each of these points.

The International 2025 Compendium Overview: Activities, Dates, Prizes 1

Teams Predictions

As usual, the Compendium includes predictions on team results. It’s simple: you guess the score with which teams will finish the Road to The International stage and the main event, and you earn rewards for correct predictions.

Currently, predictions are only available for the Road to The International stage, and they can be made until September 3. You need to guess which teams will finish with a 4-0, 4-1 score, advance to the next stage, or drop out of the tournament.

Fantasy Draft

One of the most exciting new features in the 2025 Compendium is Fantasy Draft. The main idea of this mode is to build your dream player. You have three slots for core, mid, and support positions, where you can pick any three TI 2025 players. Each player has a “tile” consisting of two parts, where you will try to predict in-game actions (Roshan kills, creep kills, Smoke of Deceit usage, etc.) during matches, and earn points for correct guesses.

The more points you earn, the higher your percentile will be.

Compendium 2025 Rewards

Now for what most players are here for — the rewards. The Compendium doesn’t offer as much as the Battle Pass once did, but Valve has still prepared several valuable items for players. Depending on your earned points in predictions and fantasy draft, you can receive the following rewards:

  • 85th percentile: free month of Dota Plus;
  • 90th percentile: everything above plus a token for a free Arcana item;
  • 95th percentile: two free months of Dota Plus, token for a free Arcana item, 50% discount on Aegis replica, and one Immortal Treasure Tyrian Regalia;
  • Top 1,500 players: free six-month Dota Plus subscription, token for a free Arcana item, 100% discount on Aegis replica, and two Immortal Treasures Tyrian Regalia;
  • Top 100 players: free one-year Dota Plus subscription, token for a free Arcana item, 100% discount on Aegis replica, and five Immortal Treasures Tyrian Regalia.

Pretty solid rewards for a free Compendium, wouldn’t you agree?

Team and Talent Bundles

In addition to predictions and fantasy draft, players can support their favorite teams and commentators by purchasing their bundle. With commentators, it’s simple — you buy a bundle and get voice lines and stickers in Dota 2. With teams, however, it’s a bit more interesting.

Team Bundles

  • Bronze – team badge and voice line
  • Silver – silver team badge, sprays, loading screens
  • Gold – gold team badge, HP bar badge, emoticons, chat wheels

Prices for Team Bundles are $1.99 for Bronze, $9.98 for Silver, and $19.97 for Gold. As a reminder, 50% of bundle sales go to the team and 30% to The International 2025 prize pool.
