Nintendo Switch 2 Price
Nintendo's official announcement mentioned the price of the console for pre-order. The exact release date of the Switch 2 is also known, and what will be on sale besides the console itself. Switch 2 Characteristics

The Switch 2 reveal was a mix of excitement and frustration—Nintendo showed off the design but kept key details under wraps. We know it’s bigger and has redesigned Joy-Cons, and some hardware improvements, but official specs? Still MIA. Luckily, leaks and side-by-side comparisons have given us a pretty solid idea of what to expect.
A few new additional devices will be available along with a console. For example, Nintendo's New Pro Controller is an upgraded gamepad. Have you seen it?
Switch 2 Screen Size
For starters, the Switch 2 is about 14% bigger than the original, measuring around 10.7 inches long and 4.5 inches high with Joy-Cons attached. The screen is also getting a major upgrade—jumping from the original’s 6.2-inch LCD to a rumored 8-inch display. That’s a solid 25% increase, putting it just under the size of an iPad Mini. A bigger screen equals a better handheld experience, and we’re here for it!
Switch 2 GPU/CPU
Under the hood, leaks point to an Nvidia Tegra T239 chip, meaning performance on par with a PS4 or Xbox One. But here’s the kicker: it’s supposedly using AI upscaling tech to push 720p handheld visuals to 4K when docked. Storage-wise, we’re looking at a big upgrade—likely 256GB internal and support for microSD Express, which could handle up to 128TB (way overkill, but still cool).
Switch 2 Storage
Nintendo hasn’t revealed the Switch 2’s storage yet, but it’ll support SD cards. Rumors say it’ll use microSD Express, allowing for way faster speeds and up to a ridiculous 128TB capacity.
Switch 2 Ports
Port-wise, the Switch 2 keeps the essentials: game cartridge slot, two USB-C ports, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and expandable storage under the kickstand. Nothing too shocking, but it's nice to see USB-C making a return. Now we just need Nintendo to drop the full spec sheet, so we can finally stop relying on leaks and guesswork.
Switch 2 Games

The Switch 2 reveal was a hit, despite leaks stirring up speculation. Nintendo’s new console will bring both exclusives and big-name ports, with hands-on previews dropped on April 2. Let’s break it all down!
