Mid-Season Invitational 2025 Power Rankings: Teams Overview

One of the biggest tournaments in League of Legends — the Mid-Season Invitational 2025 — is about to begin. Running from June 27 to July 12, the event will bring together the 10 strongest teams from each region. In this blog, we’ll take a closer look at every team that qualified for MSI 2025, review their recent achievements to understand their current form, and try to predict how they might perform at the tournament.
Mid-Season Invitational 2025 All-Teams
Ten teams are ready to represent their regions at the Mid-Season Invitational 2025: LCK (South Korea), LCP (Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau), LTA (North and South America), LPL (China), and LEC (Europe). Each of them has fought through tough regional competition and rightfully earned their place on the international stage. Now, they’re set to battle for the MSI 2025 title — and a $2 million prize.

Let’s now go over each team individually — specifically, their road to the Mid-Season Invitational 2025. We’ll also take a look back at the results and achievements they brought with them into the tournament.
Gen.G Esports

Gen.G Esports is not only one of the strongest teams in their region but also one of the top teams in the world overall. With numerous victories at the highest level of competition, the only thing missing from their resume is a World Championship trophy. Still, just like last year, the team continues to deliver top-tier results:
- LCK 2025 Road to MSI – 1st place
- LCK Cup 2025 – 2nd place
- 2024 World Championship – 3rd–4th place
- LCK Summer 2024 – 2nd place
- Esports World Cup 2024 – 5th–8th place
- 2024 Mid-Season Invitational – 1st place
- LCK Spring 2024 – 1st place
While the start of 2025 wasn’t ideal, Gen.G still put on a great show — narrowly losing 3–2 to Hanwha Life Esports in the finals, which cost them not just the match, but the title at the First Stand tournament. HLE went on to dominate the rest of the bracket and claim the crown. However, Gen.G got their revenge at the LCK 2025 Road to MSI by defeating their rivals and securing their spot at this year’s international showdown. Judging by their gameplay and determination, it’s safe to say that Gen.G is coming for the title — and they absolutely have what it takes to win it all.
T1

A legendary team that needs no introduction — five-time World Champions with an incredible collection of titles beyond Worlds alone. But despite their legacy, 2025 began with serious challenges for T1, largely triggered by the departure of their star top laner Zeus to HLE. Let’s take a look back at their achievements this year and in 2024.
- LCK 2025 Road to MSI – 2nd place
- LCK Cup 2025 – 3rd–4th place
- KeSPA Cup 2024 – 11th–12th place
- 2024 World Championship – 1st place
- LCK Regional Finals 2024 – 2nd place
- LCK 2024 Summer – 3rd place
- Esports World Cup 2024 – 1st place
- 2024 Mid-Season Invitational – 3rd place
- LCK 2024 Spring – 2nd place
Despite all the difficulties, T1 is still T1 — and it’s already clear that the team is gradually getting back into form ahead of the 2025 World Championship. But for now, their main goal is the Mid-Season Invitational 2025, and a victory here would definitely boost their confidence before the biggest tournament of the year.
Anyone's Legend

Representing one of the strongest regions in the world — the LPL — comes a relatively young organization that has steadily climbed its way to becoming a world-class team. Unlike in 2022 and 2023, things started to turn around for them in late 2024, with their first major victories and impressive results finally coming through.
- LPL 2025 Split 2 – 1st place
- LPL 2025 Split 1 – 2nd place
- Demacia Cup 2024 – 1st place
- NEST 2024 – 10th place
- LPL 2024 Summer – 5th–6th place
- LPL 2024 Spring – 11th place
Over the past six months, the team has shown consistent performance and proved at S-Tier tournaments that they can compete with — and defeat — the best. That’s why Anyone’s Legend should be considered a serious contender for the 2025 Mid-Season Invitational title.
CTBC Flying Oyster

CTBC Flying Oyster is a solid representative of their region (LCP). Their consistent performances continue to drive the team forward — helping not only their own growth, but also raising the profile of the region on the international stage.
- LCP 2025 Mid Season – 1st place
- 2025 First Stand Tournament – 3rd–4th place
- LCP 2025 Season Kickoff – 1st place
- PCS Summer Playoffs 2024 – 4th place
- PCS Summer 2024 – 3rd place
- PCS Spring Playoffs 2024 – 3rd place
- PCS Spring 2024 – 1st place
While the team has yet to claim any major titles and their international experience is still limited, Riot’s new system is giving teams like Flying Oyster more chances to qualify for S-Tier tournaments and gain valuable experience. And who knows — maybe the LCP region will soon start making headlines for all the right reasons.
MKOI

MKOI represents the LEC and has been performing well in their region over the past six months. Qualifying for MSI 2025 is a major achievement for the team and a great opportunity for growth.
- LEC 2025 Spring – 1st place
- LEC 2025 Winter – 4th place
- Iberian Cup 2024 – 5th–8th place
- EMEA Masters 2024 Summer – 33rd–36th place
- Superliga Summer 2024 – 5th place
- Superliga Spring 2024 – 6th place
Compared to their 2024 results, MKOI made a huge leap in 2025 by delivering strong performances at S-Tier tournaments. MSI will be their first event of this scale — with top-tier teams from around the world — making it a true test for the squad.
FlyQuest

FlyQuest is a team from LTA North with a solid amount of international experience under their belt. While the start of the year was a bit shaky for them, they still managed to qualify for MSI.
- LTA North 2025 Split 2 – 1st place
- LTA 2025 Cross-Conference – 3rd–4th place
- LTA North 2025 Split 1 – 3rd place
- 2024 World Championship – 4th–8th place
- LCS 2024 Summer – 1st place
- Esports World Cup 2024 – 5th–8th place
- 2024 Mid-Season Invitational – 9th–10th place
- LCS 2024 Spring – 2nd place
The team has shown consistent performance in their region, frequently finishing near the top and even securing some tournament wins. While their international results haven’t been as impressive, placing 5th–8th at Worlds 2024 is still a respectable achievement.
Bilibili Gaming

Bilibili Gaming is one of the strongest teams in their region, and the Chinese LPL is widely considered one of the most competitive leagues in the world. However, despite qualifying for MSI, the team hasn’t looked nearly as dominant in 2025 as it did last year — and their performance at Worlds 2024 raised some concerns.
- LPL 2025 Split 2 – 2nd place
- LPL 2025 Split 1 – 4th place
- Demacia Cup 2024 – 5th–8th place
- NEST 2024 – 5th–6th place
- 2024 World Championship – 2nd place
- LPL 2024 Summer – 1st place
- Esports World Cup 2024 – 5th–6th place
- 2024 Mid-Season Invitational – 2nd place
- LPL 2024 Spring – 1st place
- Demacia Cup 2023 – 1st place
As you can see, in 2024 the team was completely dominant in their region. And on the international stage, they were just one step away from victory — twice falling to Korean teams in the grand finals of major events. This year, things look quite different. The team is struggling to find that same form, and it’s far from certain whether they’ll be able to challenge the top contenders like they did last season.
FURIA

FURIA is an inconsistent team making their international debut. Their regional success has also been limited — over the past two years, they’ve played in only four tournaments and managed to deliver a strong performance in just one of them:
- LTA South 2025 Split 2 – 1st place
- LTA South 2025 Split 1 – 5th–6th place
- CBLOL Split 2 2024 – 5th place
- CBLOL Split 1 2024 – 9th place
We’re not writing FURIA off just yet, but realistically, making it out of the Play-In Stage would already be a big success for them. Of course, esports has seen its fair share of underdog victories — but in this case, it feels like the lack of international experience might be too big of a hurdle for FURIA to make a deep run at MSI 2025.
G2 Esports

The second representative from the LEC is G2 Esports. A team that has been performing at a high level for a very long time — and doing so with impressive consistency. However, compared to their regional dominance last year, it's clear that 2025 hasn't been quite as strong for them.
- LEC 2025 Spring – 2nd place
- LEC 2025 Winter – 2nd place
- 2024 World Championship – 9th–11th place
- LEC 2024 Season Finals – 1st place
- LEC 2024 Summer – 1st place
- 2024 Mid-Season Invitational – 3rd–4th place
- LEC 2024 Spring – 1st place
- LEC 2024 Winter – 1st place
Of course, finishing second is still a great achievement — but watching them play, it feels like the team hasn't fully regained its peak form after recent roster changes. It will be interesting to see how they perform on the international stage this year, especially considering how strong their results have been in the past.
GAM Esports
Closing out our list of participants is GAM Esports. This team has consistently delivered decent results in their home region, but unfortunately, they still fall short of the international level — at least for now. Let’s take a quick look at their recent performances to get a better idea of what we’re talking about:
- LCP 2025 Mid Season – 2nd place
- LCP 2025 Season Kickoff – 4th place
- 2024 World Championship – 12th–14th place
- VCS Summer 2024 – 1st place
- 2024 Mid-Season Invitational – 9th–10th place
- VCS Spring 2024 – 1st place
Much like FURIA, simply making it to the main stage of MSI would already be a solid result for them. And don’t forget — this year, MSI 2025 is running its own Pick’Ems, and in our blog Mid-Season Invitational 2025 Pick’Ems we’ve explained all the details. So if you believe GAM Esports can go much further this time — make sure to lock in your picks and grab some cool rewards!
Our Take and Prediction for the Mid-Season Invitational 2025
There’s no doubt that every team at this tournament deserves to be here — each of them has gone through a long and challenging journey to earn their spot. Still, there are clear favorites, and some regions have a noticeably higher level of play and internal competition compared to others. Many agree that the LCK and LPL are the dominant forces in League of Legends, and this year is unlikely to be an exception. Of course, we’d all love to see an underdog story unfold, but most likely, the final will feature either an all-Korean matchup or a clash between Korea and China.
In our blog Mid-Season Invitational 2025 Viewer Guide, we’ve covered everything you need to know about the tournament — from the location and dates to the prize pool and, of course, our own expectations.
