EGW Pick`Em

MSI 2025 Pick`Ems

In our Pick’Em predictions, some of our views match the majority opinion, while others differ.

Like most people, we also think that all the LPL and LCK representatives will advance to Upper Bracket Round 2. That means Gen.G, Anyone’s Legend, T1, and Bilibili Gaming will make it through, while G2 Esports, FlyQuest, CTBC Flying Oyster, and MKOI will drop to the lower bracket.

In the upper bracket, for Gen.G vs AL, we’re giving the edge to Gen.G. In the T1 vs Bilibili Gaming matchup, I think T1 will advance since they’ve been showing really strong form lately.

In the lower bracket, for G2 Esports vs FLY, I’m leaning toward G2. For CFO vs MKOI, I think MKOI can pull off the win.

Upper Bracket Round 3 will see Gen.G face T1. Here I believe Gen.G will come out on top — they’ve been in incredible form over the past few months.

In the lower bracket, I see BLG beating G2. They completely shut down G2 in the Play-In, so I don’t think it will go any differently this time. For AL vs MKOI, I expect the Chinese squad AL to win with a score of 3:0 or 3:1.

Lower Bracket Round 3 will be BLG vs AL, and in my opinion, AL should win and move on to the lower bracket final. There, they’ll face T1, where I hope Faker’s team can secure the victory and make it to the Grand Final, where Gen.G will be waiting.

And in my opinion, Gen.G will be the champions of the final.

YouTuber Jostsu11 shared his own predictions as follows. In Upper Bracket Round 2, the teams moving forward will be Gen.G, Anyone’s Legend, T1, and Bilibili Gaming. Dropping to the lower bracket will be G2 Esports, FlyQuest, CTBC Flying Oyster, and MKOI.

In the next round of the upper bracket, Gen.G will advance, sending Anyone’s Legend to the lower bracket. T1 will defeat Bilibili Gaming.

In the lower bracket, FlyQuest will eliminate G2 from the tournament, while MKOI will beat CFO.

In Upper Bracket Round 3, Gen.G will face T1 — and Jostsu11 predicts Gen.G will win, knocking T1 down to the lower bracket.

In the lower bracket, BLG vs FLY will see BLG move forward, eliminating FlyQuest. In AL vs MKOI, Jostsu11 gives the edge to AL, which isn’t really surprising.

Lower Bracket Round 3 will have BLG vs AL, and he’s picking AL to win. That sets up Lower Bracket Round 4 with AL facing T1, where Jostsu11 expects T1 to come out on top.

For the Grand Final of MSI 2025, the blogger’s final pick for the winner is Gen.G.

YamatoCannon

YouTuber and streamer YamatoCannon also shared his own Pick’Em predictions, and his choices differ a bit from the previous blogger.

In Round 1, he agrees that all the LPL and LCK representatives will move on to Round 2. So, according to YamatoCannon, Gen.G, T1, Anyone’s Legend, and Bilibili Gaming will advance.

Teams from the other regions will drop to the lower bracket: G2 Esports, FlyQuest, CTBC Flying Oyster, and MKOI.

In Upper Bracket Round 2, YamatoCannon predicts Gen.G will lose to Anyone’s Legend. In the T1 vs Bilibili Gaming matchup, he has T1 winning and sending BLG down to the lower bracket.

For the lower bracket, in the G2 Esports vs FLY match, YamatoCannon chose FlyQuest. In CFO vs MKOI, he picked CFO to advance. It seems he doesn’t have much faith in the strength of the LEC region.

In Upper Bracket Round 3, it’s AL vs T1, where he believes Anyone’s Legend will come out on top and move to the Grand Final.

In the lower bracket, he sees BLG beating FLY. For Gen.G vs CFO, he predicts an obvious win for Gen.G. In Lower Bracket Round 3, BLG will face Gen.G, and YamatoCannon expects Gen.G to win that matchup.

In the lower bracket final between T1 and Gen.G, he places his faith in the LCK Road To MSI winners — Gen.G. He predicts they’ll reach the Grand Final to face AL, and he ultimately picks Gen.G to win the MSI 2025 title.

Yes, that’s right. It’s a free event tied to the Mid-Season Invitational 2025 that gives you a chance to test your intuition or analytical skills while earning some great rewards. Even if your predictions aren’t perfect, taking part is still a lot of fun. I’d really love to see Riot continue to run events like this for bigger tournaments, such as Worlds 2025 — it would make the biggest League of Legends event of the year even more exciting, with no risk and awesome prizes. Personally, I think it’s a fantastic idea. Good luck — I hope you earn lots of PTS and get as many rewards as you can!
