How to Get Double Jump in Silksong

Hollow Knight: Silksong gives Hornet exciting new abilities to enhance exploration and combat. One of the most useful is the Double Jump, which opens access to higher areas and hidden locations. Double Jump: It's Faydown Cloak Ability

The Double Jump in Silksong is part of Hornet’s Faydown Cloak Ability. To unlock it, you need to progress through the game until you reach Mount Fay. There, acquire the Faydown Cloak Ancestral Art and play the Needolin at the Ancient Tuning Mechanism to activate it. Once unlocked, you can tap the jump button twice in midair, gaining extra height and control over your movements.

Abilities in Silksong are permanent upgrades that enhance Hornet’s traversal or combat capabilities. Unlike Silk Skills, which are consumable combat moves, Abilities remain with Hornet and allow access to new areas in Pharloom as you explore.

Along the way, climb platforms, cross chasms, and follow the Flea Caravan until you encounter Shakra. Purchasing maps from her with Rosaries not only reveals the layout of explored areas but also highlights locations of Abilities and Silk Skills, making it easier to locate upgrades like the Faydown Cloak.
