How To Complete The Clean Dream in Arc Raiders: Step-by-Step Guide

The Clean Dream is a Cold Snap update quest that splits its objectives across two maps. Apollo assigns the task as an investigation into abandoned filtration and purification systems. Progress depends more on navigation and awareness than on combat. The quest can be finished in two clean runs with minimal risk if routes stay controlled.
The Clean Dream Step-by-Step Walkthrough
The first half of the quest unfolds beneath Spaceport, in underground tunnels that sit away from the main landing zones. These tunnels remain active with patrols but offer predictable layouts. The second half moves to Blue Gate, inside a sealed Maintenance Bunker that houses the final objectives. None of the steps require puzzle solving, but Blue Gate’s traffic patterns make timing important.

Deploy to Spaceport and move directly toward the underground tunnel entrance shown on the map.

Enter the tunnels and open any four loot containers, checking inside each one to register progress.

Stay inside the tunnel network and locate a Filtration system, identified by paired green tanks with exposed piping.

Approach the valve on one Filtration system and interact with it to complete the Spaceport objectives.

Extract safely and queue for Blue Gate.

Upon arrival at Blue Gate, head straight to the Maintenance Bunker marked on the surface map.

Enter the bunker and descend the metal stairs toward the lower chamber.
Interact with the Purification System by using the panel on the left-hand container.

Turn back toward the rear corner of the room and locate the wall vent.
Crawl through the vent, climb the ladder, and enter the upper room.
Approach the desk on the right side of the room and interact with the blueprints folder.
Completing the final interaction closes out the quest immediately. Apollo rewards the run with Deadline, three Showstoppers, and three Heavy Fuze Grenades. The rewards lean toward mid-range combat and utility rather than long-term progression. The quest also quietly routes players through areas that overlap with several puzzle locations.
Arc Raiders Puzzles
The Buried City guitar puzzle represents the most complex shared puzzle currently in Arc Raiders. Fifteen red buttons hidden across the map must be pressed in a fixed musical sequence tied to graffiti near a locked door by Red Tower. Progress tracks server-wide, and any incorrect input by any player resets the chain, making coordination essential. The reward consists of Legendary Acoustic Guitars and Shakers, which function purely as emotes.
Blue Gate puzzles operate on a different logic. They rely on contained systems built around batteries, switches, terminals, and timed hazards rather than a global state. Ancient Fort uses three batteries placed into separate fuse boxes to open a basement cache. Raider’s Refuge hides four rotating red-button switches around a church complex, while Reinforced Reception and Deforester Husk introduce color routing, fuze delivery, and ARC Power Cell timing. Together, these puzzles define repeatable loot paths rather than one-off secrets, shaping how players move through Blue Gate during longer sessions.
