Shared Watch Event in ARC Raiders: Cooperative PvE, New Rewards, and Winter Conditions

The latest update for ARC Raiders, released on February 10, serves as an addition to the Headwinds and Shrouded Sky updates and continues the game’s development in line with the ARC Raiders Roadmap. After a long wait for more PvE-focused content, players are finally getting what they asked for with the launch of the Shared Watch event, which puts a strong emphasis on cooperative gameplay and fighting ARC machines instead of other Raiders. The event runs from February 10 to February 24, during which players can team up, earn Merits, and unlock unique rewards.

Shared Watch: Cooperative PvE

Shared Watch is a new event in ARC Raiders focused on uniting all Raiders against ARC machines. During PvE activities, players earn Merits for destroying ARC enemies, while PvP actions do not contribute to progress. The event encourages cooperation and interaction between players—even random ones—by directing all attention toward a common enemy. The event is available from February 10 to February 24.

Overall, this update does not introduce a separate new mode, but instead offers a limited-time PvE event where teamwork is the core experience. Players are encouraged to group up, fight ARC together, and survive harsh conditions, making cooperation the foundation of gameplay during the event in ARC Raiders.

Merit Gain in Shared Watch

During the Shared Watch event in ARC Raiders, Merits are earned exclusively from XP gained in fights against ARC machines. The rule is simple: 100 XP equals 1 Merit. XP is awarded not only for destroying ARC, but also for dealing damage to them and assisting in the takedown of larger enemies, meaning you don’t need to land the final blow.

The more dangerous the ARC machine, the more XP and Merits it grants. Smaller enemies such as Wasps, Hornets, and Snitches award around 100–200 XP, while larger threats like Rocketeers, Leapers, and Bastions grant roughly 500 XP. PvP activity does not award Merits and has no impact on event progression.

What Are Merits Used For in Shared Watch?

ARC Raiders Shared Watch

Merits act as progress points for the Shared Watch event in ARC Raiders. You earn them by fighting ARC, and the game automatically tracks your progress and unlocks event rewards. The more Merits you earn, the more rewards you unlock, including cosmetic items, Raider Tokens, and the main prize—the Slugger outfit. There’s nothing to spend manually; the only requirement is to earn enough Merits before the event ends.

The Return of Cold Snap

Winter isn’t over yet—Cold Snap is returning to ARC Raiders. While this map condition is active, players once again take damage when staying in open areas, making prolonged surface traversal without shelter dangerous. However, the increased risk comes with a reward: more valuable loot can be found on the surface, making these runs appealing to well-prepared Raiders.

It’s also worth noting that Candleberries can still be collected, but they are no longer tied to any event. Additionally, snowballs are once again available in winter conditions and can be picked up and thrown—more of an atmospheric feature than a practical tool, but one that adds character and mood to Cold Snap.
