Berlin, Germany's Uber Eats Music Hall, will host the highly anticipated FC Pro World Championship, the pinnacle of EA Sports FC's new esports ecosystem. The world's elite 32 FC Pro players will engage in a fierce battle from July 11th to the 13th, vying for a substantial portion of the $1 million (~£786,000) prize money.
EA has recently heavily teased the 2024 EA Sports FC Pro World Championship. Germany will host the big event right before Euro 2024, which will almost be over at the starting point of EA’s championship tournament.
Qualified competitors will compete for a share of a $1 million prize pool at the event, which will take place from July 10th to the 13th at Berlin's Uber Eats Music Hall (the Euro finals are on July 14).
Live audiences are scheduled for July 12th and 13th as the top 20 players from each regional FC Pro League will attend the 32-player, three-day global finals tournament. Eight spots will be up for grabs in a play-in event on July 10; 24 players have already qualified for the tournament.
EA Sports FC Pro 24 Explained
FC Pro 24 is not just a local event, but EA Sports' official esports program that brings together the most skilled virtual football players from around the globe. This 'prestigious one-on-one tournament' is designed with an efficient timetable and three essential components: FC Pro Open, FC Pro Leagues, and the World Championship, all of which contribute to the global appeal of the event.
EA Sports FC 24 Qualification Methods
FC 24: Pro Open
The Pro Open, which spanned from the game's inception to February 2024, allowed players to portray themselves, clubs, or esports clubs. The focus was on a sequence of competitions, starting with the FC Pro Open Ladder.
During this period, individuals participated in Open Ladder matches versus others in their competitive zone.
The top performers in each regional ladder advanced to the FC Pro Open Regional Qualifiers, where they competed for a chance to be invited to the Global Qualifier. The qualifying concluded in November and included a 64-player tournament.
FC 24: Pro Leagues
From February to April 2024, League Partner contests took place worldwide, determining the champions of each nation.
Out of the League partner stage, a total of 28 players advanced and earned a spot in the World Championship.
The FC Pro Leagues invited 32 League Partners during this qualification stage, including ePremier League, eLigue 1 Uber Eats, CONMEBOL eLibertadores, LALIGA FC Pro, WOW Virtual Bundesliga, eSerie A TIM, eMLS, KPN eDivisie, and others, to participate in high-quality competition on the virtual field.
FC Pro World Championship Final Qualifier
On Wednesday, July 10, a Play-In event will take place where 20 highly ranked players across FC Pro Leagues will battle for one of the eight remaining slots in the FC Pro World Championship, which will start the next day. The eight finalists will be added to the existing pool of 24 competitors who have already earned their spots in the three-day global finals.
These competitors qualified through the aforementioned FC Pro Open and the FC Pro Leagues, and the existing lineup of qualified players comprises:

EA FC Championship 2024 Betting
Much like the rising popularity of those playing at Stake US casino, sports wagering on EA soccer titles has boomed, and the EA FC World Championship will be no exception.
EA FC esports has experienced significant growth in recent years. Gaming is now prominently showcased in numerous mainstream outlets and ESPN. Nevertheless, to what extent has FIFA gained popularity? According to several researchers, traditional sports fall behind in terms of viewership when compared to competitive gaming.
EA FC esports distinguish themselves from traditional sports because they lack regional limitations. Cricket, baseball, football, and basketball are popular on different continents and countries.
Sportsbooks are operational as they offer odds on their clients' bets. Consequently, internet bookies have effortlessly incorporated EA FC into the betting sector. The EA FC esports industry has attracted a substantial audience of streaming watchers; thus, finding a sports gambling site that does not offer video game lines is challenging.
EA FC 24 Pro Open Breaks Viewership Records
The FC Pro 24 Open concluded earlier this year following a challenging tournament lasting over two months. The Open competition served as the inaugural stage in the EA Sports FC 24 esports series, where the top four players advanced to the FC Pro World Championship.
The Open event's popularity indicates a positive outlook for the rest of the season, and the integration of football and esports consistently attracts a larger audience.
In 2024, EA will host its inaugural World Championship, providing an occasion for the organizers to rebrand and restructure the esports landscape.
The FC Pro 24 Open event accumulated over 6 million hours of viewership. Right from the beginning, this FIFA tournament quickly became the most watched in the history of the esports scene. The open tournament generated over twice the amount of view time compared to the FUT Champions Cup Barcelona 2018, which was the next-most-watched event in our database.
To summarize, both the recent FC Pro 24 Open and the FC Pro 24 Open—Global Qualifier events had exceptionally high viewing levels, with the former setting a new record as the most-watched FIFA event to date. The recently redesigned FC Pro 24 esports circuit has garnered an impressive 6 million hours of viewership, indicating that it is poised to become a significant triumph for EA.
