TeamSpirit added mir and chopper to the list of transfers

Team Spirit was put on the bench and added to the transfer list of Leonid “chopper” Vishnyakov and star shooter Nikolai “mir” Bityukov ahead of the DreamHack Open in November, the organization announced today. It is unclear if Patsi and KaiR0N will be just stand-ins for DreamHackOpen in November or if they will play a role in Spirit's new project. The rest of the tournament participants consists of Abdulkhalik “degster” Hasanov, Boris “magixx” Vorobyov and Viktor “somedieyoung” Orudzhev.

The November DreamHackOpen tournament will run from November 10 to November 14. Spirit is in Group B along with ENCE, Fnatic and forZe.

Astralis adds K0nfig and blameF to their Counter-Strike roster

After an unexpected early departure from PGL Stockholm Major on November 1, Astralis made some much needed changes to their Counter-Strike roster.

The Danish organization has signed Christian “k0nfig” Vinecke, Benjamin “blameF” Bremer and head coach Alexander “ave” Held to revive the team and bring Astralis back to where it “should be”.

The players and coach are set to replace Peter “dupreeh” Rasmussen, Emil “Magisk” Rafe and Danny “zonic” Sørensen, who have long been part of the team, winning several major tournaments.

They are expected to leave Astralis no later than January 2022 when their contracts expire, according to a press release.

K0nfig and blameF, whom Hwidt describes as “absolutely world class” players, have already established themselves well in the Danish scene, playing together in Complexity.

At the same time, ave, known for his “unique” and “deep understanding” of Counter-Strike, will try to bring tactical understanding and analytical skills, as well as preparation, strategy and structure to the team.
