Description of abilities
Static Remnants
- When cast, Static Remnant interrupts Storm Spirit's casting spells.
- After creating a copy, it will take 1 second. to trigger to explode and deal damage. When the copy's lifespan expires, it will explode and deal damage around it.
- The copy can be activated by invisible creatures and deal damage to them.
- Copies appear on the minimap in the same color as Light/Dark creatures, not the player's color.
- The copies provide 500 radius flying vision where they are placed until they disappear or explode.
Electric Vortex
- Pulls creatures at a speed of 128.57/122.22/118.18/115.38 (100/100/100/100).
- If the target is affected by another source of horizontal forced movement, the ability will stop the pull and continue after the other source ends. That is, unlike other forced movement effects, Electric Vortex is not interrupted by other effects, but only paused.
- If the target moves more than 1200 range away from the original cast location, the link is instantly broken.
- With Aghanim's Scepter, Electric Vortex becomes a non-targeted ability with a 475 radius, affecting all enemy units around Storm Spirit; she can no longer select a creature directly.
- Does not pull invisible, invulnerable, or hidden creatures and creatures in the Fog of War.
- If there were no enemies in range when cast, Overload will still trigger.
- Multiple casts on the same target will update the duration of the pull and its distance, but not the location of the anchor endpoint.
Overload
Casting abilities generates a charge of electricity that infuses the hero's next attack. It will deal damage to all enemies around the target and slow them down.
- Number of bounces: 2
- Bounce Radius: 700
- Attack Knockback Damage: 75%
- Radius: 750
- Add. attack speed: 40
- Number of charges: 3
- Duration: 12
Peculiarities:
- Using items does not activate Overload.
- The extra damage is dealt by a separate source of damage and counts as spell damage. That is, it is not affected and is not counted by any effects that affect attack damage.
- He is also affected by spell damage amplification and spell lifesteal.
- The slow and damage affects all enemy creatures around the attacked target within a certain radius. On the main target, the attack first applies the debuff, then deals damage.
- On secondary attacks, first deals damage, then applies the debuff.
- The charge is spent on a successful hit on the target. If the attack misses or is dodged, nothing happens.
- Each attack checks for a buff on Storm Spirit on a successful hit. If there is a buff, the charge is triggered. That is, if Storm Spirit receives the buff while the projectile is flying, then this attack will trigger a charge when it hits the target.
- Attacking buildings or allies does not consume a charge, but destroying wards does.
- With the talent, an Overload attack bounces to the nearest enemy unit within 700 range of the target.
- The bouncing attack moves at a speed of 1100 (based on the caster's projectile speed). Speed can be increased by other projectile speed bonuses.
- A 75% multiplier applies to both attack and Overload damage values. Deals 30/45/60/75 Overload damage on bounce.
- Rebound is part of the spell. It ignores evasion and damage block.
- This damage counts as spell damage; however, it ignores spell damage amplification and does not emit spell lifesteal.
- The bounce damage is calculated from the damage of the initial attack and its value is determined at the time the attack starts. That is, it is affected by a critical strike and Quell, since they are included in the initial damage calculation.
- It also doesn't matter how much damage the target's attack actually deals, since that's calculated when the projectile hits.
- This does not count additional damage from other sources (such as Javelin procs) as it is dealt after attack damage.
Ball Lightning
- When cast, Ball Lightning allows you to avoid projectiles.
- Storm Spirit is invulnerable during Ball Lightning. He can turn, cast spells, items, and attack during Ball Lightning.
- Re-casting Ball Lightning will have no result, but will count as a use for some abilities (in this case, the initial mana spent is returned).
- If Storm Spirit runs out of mana while flying, he will immediately stop.
- While flying, Ball Lightning destroys trees in a 100 radius around Storm Spirit.
- Provides 400 radius flying vision around Storm Spirit while Ball Lightning is active.
- Spends Storm Spirit's mana every 100 mana in 0.07/0.05/0.04 second intervals.
- The cast cost in the ability's tooltip indicates the starting value based on Storm Spirit's current maximum mana.
- The following is how much Ball Lightning damage Storm Spirit will deal around it based on range (before reductions):
- 500 units: 40/60/80 damage, 80 + 11.25% of maximum mana
- 1000 points: 80/120/160 damage, 130 + 14.5% of maximum mana
- 2500 HP: 200/300/400 damage, 280 + 24.25% of max mana
- 5000 HP: 400/600/800 damage, 530 + 40.5% of max mana
Learning abilities:
The most up-to-date build of abilities. Sometimes Vortex is taken at the level to prevent the opponent from finishing off creeps, but most often the first skill is pumped to get more damage.

After the Orchid Malevolence change, it is no longer picked as the first slot, unless it is necessary against the opponent's pick. Now the focus is on mana regeneration.
The meta build would be to buy 2 Null Talisman and Kaya and Sange, which increases survivability in a fight, as well as damage to heroes.

Gameplay
Storm has good base damage, a fairly comfortable animation and a more or less normal attack range. All this allows you to easily finish off creeps in the lane, playing against most popular heroes. Even if you are having difficulty last hitting the creeps, you can still use the Static Remnant + Overload combo.
Up to level 6 and, accordingly, receiving an ult, it makes no sense to talk about some kind of murders. It's best to focus on farming and not risk it again. Without an ult, it is very difficult for Storm to kill someone.
During team fights, Storm Spirit should take care of his mana pool in the first place. If, for example, your mana runs out at the moment when you are in the middle of the battle, then this will lead to instant death, since you will not be able to use your ult.. The second thing Storm should think about during the fight is enemy control skills. For survivability, Storm Spirit relies mostly on her mobility and if the enemies control you, she can die very quickly. BKB partially solves this problem, but this artifact does not help in all cases. In addition, it has a limited amount of time and has a cooldown. Be sure to keep an eye on what crowd control skills the enemy has, as in some cases it is better to wait a bit and attack a little later than to risk and die in the first seconds of the battle while under a stun.
Don't forget that you need expensive artifacts and be sure to farm lanes and jungle between all fights and ganks. The presence of AOE damage helps a lot with this. Moving between neutral camps with the help of the ult will of course not be beneficial, since you will be left without mana very quickly, but the ult can be used to, for example, overcome some small obstacle and shorten the path, or, for example, to break trees and also shorten the path.
