2. Mortal Kombat Defender Earth
Do you prefer punch fest? Mortal Kombat is a franchise that needs no introductions. Defender Earth is a fan product where you can choose tens of characters – from Sub Zero to Goro. Even though the game does not belong to the official brand, its gameplay is pretty attractive.
The latest version is 3.3.7, it was released two years ago. Judging by the current status, the project is not being developed any more – and it’s a pity.
3. Ghostscape 3D
And again, a gloomy atmosphere – but formed as an adventure logic game where you need to be perceptive. You visit an abandoned house where you can witness hair-raising rituals. What happened? You have to find items scattered in the rooms but you gain access to them after doing definite actions.
4. Zelda Classic
Do you prefer something calm and classical? Zelda Classic is a remake of the extremely popular Legend of Zelda released in 1986 by Nintendo for NES. Download the file, repack the archive, run zelda.exe – and head for a magic country. The project is constantly developing!
5. The Last of Humans: Awakening
Another survival horror. The beginning is exciting – the main character pulls out of coma. He quickly understands that he is in hospital where a lot of bad things are happening. Black humour plus a puzzle? What is it about? There are human toys that find their existence boring. Your task is to let them commit… a suicide. And there are lots of resources there – from falling from height to crush and change of gravity load.
9. Fragments of Euclid
And now – a less exhausting puzzle set in the world of Escher’s architecture. The ceiling can become the floor, the wall can be the ceiling, and you will have to find the right path in this chaos. The setting of the game is remarkable, the game is in the drawing style.
10. Heroine's Quest: The Herald of Ragnarok
Vikings, trolls, winter, wolves, gods... Let us introduce an adventure RPG game styled in the 90s classic, a kind of The Flight of Amazon Queen or Secrets of Monkey Island but with battles and spells and the main character can work in one of three jobs.
The game is designed to be played for hours – and it is worth playing. Heroine's Quest: The Herald of Ragnarok is available in the Steam library.
