Natus Vincere updated Wild Rift roster
Ihor MatusRepresentatives of the esports club Natus Vincere made an interesting announcement. Born to Win decided to update their Wild Rift roster. This happened after the not very successful performance of Natus Vincere at the WIld Rift Origin Series 2021. There the team failed to get out of the group stage. The team took the fifth position in its group. The management considered this result to be very unacceptable, and therefore decided on changes in the roster.
Rustam 'Valhalla' Bolurov left the club as well as Alexei 'Dante' Sorokin and Tilek 'TheDon' Toktonilov. NAVI representatives thanked the three esportsmen for their contribution to the development of Natus Vincere's Wild Rift division and wished them success in their future careers. The vacancies were filled by foreign players. Waheel 'YeQiu' Hassani, Hoang 'Phi' Thi and Frederic 'Schow' Morthorst will now play under the Natus Vincere tag. It won't be the first time for YeQiu and Schow to play together. A duo of players played together as part of Game-Lord. Together with the latter, they managed to win the Team Liquid Summer Showdown: Europe. In addition, they became silver medalists in such championships as Wild Rift Origin Series: July Group A Finals. Wahil 'YeQiu' Hassani and Frederick 'Schow' Morthorst's most impressive accomplishments were their 3rd-4th place in the Wild Rift Origin Series. For their work there Game-Lord received a reward of $ 17,000.
As for the third out of line newcomers, Hoang 'Phi' Thi is one of the best players in the European ladder. He managed to reach the top rank of three Challenger seasons and to be at the top of the ranking of the best esports players playing on Soraka. Although Phi is a good player, his esports experience is not as impressive as the Natus Vincere management would probably like. Phi took part in official matches under the BK ROG Esports and Team Singularity tag. As part of the latter, the cybersportsman, by the way, spent only 3 days.
Natus Vincere in the new roster have already played in three matches of Moscow Cybersport Series 2021: Top Series Season 3. In two of them, Born to Win performed in tune with their name and won the fight against Nova Esports and Wasted Potential, but in a duel against Game-Lord was not lucky. As a result, NAVI took second place in Group B with 3-1 statistics, which allowed them to advance to the playoffs. It is not known at the moment what the sowing will be and who will have to face the "Born to Win".
Moscow Cybersport Series 2021: Top Series Season 3 started on October 23 and will end on November 7. The total prize fund of the championship is 250,000 rubles (≃ $ 3,560), and 10 teams are involved in its distribution among each other. The main reward will be 120,000₽ (≃ $ 1,700),
