VALORANT Champions 2021 may take place in Los Angeles
To date, there is no official information regarding the venue for VALORANT Champions 2021. However, the developers have repeatedly mentioned that the US is one of the options being studied. And now, in the last video, we noticed a VALORANT Champions poster hinting at a possible location for the final tournament. In addition, the Upcomer portal also confirmed this information, citing its own sources.
The exact location has not yet been determined in accordance with local rules and restrictions due to the coronavirus pandemic. Los Angeles is slowly returning to normal, and sporting events are only now returning to normal.
Riot Games is no stranger to Los Angeles, as the company's main headquarters in Santa Monica are located here. While the LCS Arena is across the street from its main offices, Riot has used Los Angeles as their home for numerous esports competitions, especially their crown jewel, League of Legends.
If this rumor is confirmed, it will be the first-ever VALORANT LAN tournament on American soil and the third LAN in general, after Masters Reykjavik and Masters Berlin, scheduled for September at Verti Music Hall. Interestingly, Riot Games has yet to confirm if fans will be allowed to Masters 3.
