VCT 2021: EMEA Stage 2 Challengers Finals: BBL and Futbolist Leave the Tournament

The third game day of VCT 2021: EMEA Stage 2 Challengers Finals has come to an end. Within the framework of the championship, two elimination matches took place, which predetermined the fate of the two teams that left this tournament.

The first players to enter the server were Gambit and BBL. Contrary to optimistic expectations, the Turkish team failed to impose a fight on the best team in the CIS, having devastatingly lost on two maps (3:13; 7:13). Next came the Turkish derby - Oxygen vs Futbolist. Here the best team in Turkey could not confirm their status, showing a very confused game. As a result, Oxygen was able to get a dry victory (2: 0) and stay in the championship.

VCT 2021: EMEA Stage 2 Challengers Finals runs from April 23rd to May 2nd. Eight teams from Europe, Turkey and the CIS compete for € 85,500 among themselves. The winner will receive not only € 35,000, but also a place in Masters Reykjavík. The vice-champion of the tournament will also receive a cash amount equivalent to € 15,000, as well as a slot in the upcoming Masters Reykjavík.
