Fnatic wins VCT 2021: Europe Stage 2 Challengers 2
/The VALORANT Champions Tour 2021: Europe Stage 2 Challengers 2 has come to an end. Eight European teams took part in the tournament, which competed for a prize pool of € 35,000, as well as two places in VCT 2021: EMEA Stage 2 Challengers Finals. The winner of the tournament was the Fnatic team, which in the grand final was able to defeat Liquid with a score of 3: 1.
We can say that the tournament was successful for Fnatic. The team ended up in an extremely uncomfortable grid, where they had to play with very strong opponents. However, Fnatic first beat G2 (2: 0), and then dealt with Vitality (2: 0), showing their best game.
In turn, Liquid did not have the strongest grid, because already at the start of the tournament, the team met with CE Calling (2: 0) - a very unexpected participant in the championship. However, already in the semifinals, “liquid” had to spend a lot of energy to return to the series and defeat Team BDS (2: 1).
Note that both finalists made it to VCT 2021: EMEA Stage 2 Challengers Finals, joining the other six participants in the championship.
