G2 and Acend leave VCT 2021: Europe Stage 2 Challengers 2
/The first game day of the VALORANT Champions Tour 2021: Europe Stage 2 Challengers 2 has come to an end. Two matches took place within the framework of the championship, which predetermined the fate of the two teams.
At the start of the game day, Vitality met with Acend. The champion of the last VCT 2021: Europe Stage 1 Masters has been unable to regain its former shape for some time, as evidenced by not the most successful results. So this time, the team failed to prove their status, losing to Vitality on two maps (12:14, 12:14).
In the second match, G2 and Fnatic met. In this match, the intrigue was even less, since the stage leader once again showed a bad game, first losing on Bind (5:13), and then giving Ascent (11:13). As a result, G2 will also miss the VALORANT Champions Tour 2021: EMEA Stage 2 Challengers Finals without getting caught up in the race to Reykjavik.
Tomorrow, April 16, two matches will take place. At the start of the second game day, Team BDS and Ninjas In Pajamas will meet, and in the evening we will watch the match between the Liquid and CE Calling teams.
As a reminder, VALORANT Champions Tour 2021: Europe Stage 2 Challengers 2 will take place from 15 to 18 April. Eight European teams will compete for € 35,000, as well as two tickets to VCT 2021: EMEA Stage 2 Challengers Finals.
