First Strike Europe - Europe's Decoupling Is Coming

Teams from Europe are preparing to fight for the title of champion of the first tournament of the First Strike series. Eight teams will participate in the final stage, but only one will win the title and take home $ 40,000 in prize money.

List of participants

8 teams made their way to the main stage, having passed through the regional qualifiers. The complete list looks like this:

  • Those who made it to the playoffs through 1 qualifier: G2 Esports, Team Liquid, FunPlus Phoenix, SUMN FC;
  • Proceeding to the playoffs through 2 qualifiers: nolpenki, Orgless, Purple Cobras, Team Heretics.

The teams are waiting for the single-elimination bracket, with no room for error.

The format and the first pairs of the playoffs

First Strike is a unique tournament in terms of the championship format. Here the teams are not divided into groups, but immediately go to the playoffs, where the single-elimination bracket awaits them.

All matches, with the exception of the grand final, will be bo3. The decisive match for the title of the First Strike tournament will be played in a bo5 format.

In the first round of the playoffs, we will face a confrontation between Team Liquid versus Team Heretics, G2 Esports versus Orgless, SUMB FC versus Purple Cobras and FunPlus Phoenix versus nolpenki.

Dates and distribution of the prize fund

The final stage of First Strike Europe from Riot Games and BLAST will take place from December 3 to 6, online. The total prize pool will be $ 100,000, which the teams will split as follows:
